Topical Healing: Crafting Herbal Oils and Salves

Some of the most potent herbal medicine comes in the simplest forms. In this class, we’ll dive into the art of infusing oils with healing herbs to soothe the skin, muscles, and spirit. Learn the step-by-step process of making oils and transforming them into rich, protective salves and balms—perfect for the dry, cold months ahead. We’ll explore herbs like calendula, comfrey, and lavender, and discuss how to choose the right base oils and waxes for your needs. Each participant will leave with a bottle of herbal oil, custom healing salve and the confidence to continue crafting at home.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn:
• How to make infused herbal oils with fresh or dried plant material
• How to use herbal oils for topical healing and nervous system support
• Simple and easy method for turning any herbal oil into a portable salve

Learn to work with locally abundant herbs and immune allies like garlic, ginger, thyme, and elderberry to strengthen your system and stay grounded through the darker months.Think of it as your pre-holiday immunity tune-up. Together we’ll taste and talk about tonics, teas, and broths that support vitality and resilience, honoring both body and bioregion.
